Structure of suction nozzle
The suction nozzle of the SMT mounter consists of a suction nozzle head, a connecting rod and a negative pressure vacuum source. The nozzle head is the part in direct contact with the circuit board, and is usually made of wear-resistant, high-temperature-resistant materials, such as ceramics or tungsten carbide. The connecting rod connects the nozzle head to the negative pressure vacuum source in order to generate suction. The negative pressure vacuum source is the source that provides the suction force, which is transmitted to the nozzle head via the connecting rod.
